Meeting Notes from January 19th, 2011

Hi everyone,
These notes do not represent all the information presented at the meeting, because much of it was a re-hash of what was printed in the Record-Searchlight on 1/16. The main purpose of these notes is to have a record of all of our concerns & questions, so we can work towards getting them addressed.

We have not yet scheduled a next meeting, but there will be one in approximately 2 months, and you can read towards the end of the notes what some possible agenda items/speakers may be. You can receive announcements about meetings, etc., by remaining on this list, and/or by joining the Facebook page "Round Mountain and Montgomery Creek, CA communities", if you are on Facebook.

Towards the end of the notes, there are some ideas of "next steps," some of which need some volunteers! If you have the expertise or the interest to pursue any of these, please let me know.

Acorn Community Enterprises--and I, in my job as keeper of e-mail lists--is happy to continue in the role of community meeting facilitator and organizer, but we are not taking any particular stance on any energy projects at this time, other than "let's help everyone get all the information that we can." So, if you have information that would be helpful to other community members, please let us know.
